Sales, Shipping and Returns (Retail)

Many items are produced to order and production can take around 3 or 4 weeks before delivery. Items in stock will be dispatched within 3 working days of receipt of your order, wherever possible, unless indicated otherwise.

All prices are quoted in New Zealand dollars except where specifically listed otherwise.
 

Freight

Freight is free on all orders over NZD $100 for delivery within New Zealand. Smaller orders will incur a Freight and Packaging charge.
 

Deliveries outside New Zealand

Goods are usually sent by air mail unless requested otherwise, this can take 10 days or more. Express courier options are available but are expensive. Surface mail is cheaper but very slow. Please contact us to make freight arrangements before you place your order.

Import duties and taxes you may be liable for are not included in the purchase price and are your responsibility, if imposed by the country in which you take delivery of your purchase.
 

Exchange rates

While we do our best to keep our prices current, the exchange rates can have a huge impact on prices. We reserve the right to withhold supply should this vary significantly from your payment. You will have the option of a full refund or making an adjustment to your payment.
 

Your order status

Many items are produced to order and production can take around 3 or 4 weeks, we will advise you when you can expect delivery. If the date is not acceptable to you we will refund you in full.
 

Returns and refunds

Please contact us to make the correct arrangements for returns processing. We will not accept goods that are returned without authorisation. We will accept returns of any faulty or damaged goods within a week of your receipt, subject to the following conditions. Goods must have been used for their intended purpose and not mistreated. If a replacement cannot be made, we will fully refund your payment. The cost of return freight for the goods is your responsibility.
 

Warranty

Most items have a one year warranty (some have 2 to 5 years!) This covers the parts only and not freight (in either direction). Please contact us to discuss your warranty claim. Proof of purchase may be required.
 

Consumer Guarantees Act

LED Effect complies with all obligations under the NZ Consumer Guarantees Act.
 

Cancelling your order

You can cancel your order prior to it being dispatched by contacting us quoting your order number and reason for cancellation. Note that items produced to order will incur a handling charge of 25% of the purchase price.
